Garden party food?!

Question:

Garden party food?

So, im throwing a garden party, and was wondering if anyone has any killer recipits that are easy, quick, and delish? also, anyone have a good cucumber sandwich recipt? What about to drink(non-alcoholic)? Thanks!

Answers:

Anything that is easy to pick up and eat without utensils.

Cucumber sandwiches: high quality, rustic white bread sliced. Spread slices with softened, salted butter, spread that with slices of english cucumber (hot house kind without wax), spread another slice with softened cream cheese. You can also use watercress instead of the cucumber.

Cut the sandwiches into small squares with a long bread knife.

I like to roll a variety of cold cuts, cheeses, roasted peppers, eggplant, cilantro, olive oil or mayo onto the big slices of flatbread. Roll tightly and cut into portions. Very striking.

If you have time, make stuffed mushroom caps. You can even use pepperidge farms stuffing mix and bake them into the caps of large white mushrooms. Empty out cherry tomatoes and stuff with tuna or chicken salad.

If that's too much trouble, you can brush olive oil onto slices of bread, bake until crispy and spread with a variety of things including chicken or chopped beef salad.
