And I'm full of questions about this new venture of mine. First of all, Is there a substitute for Cinnamon? Hubby can't eat cinnamon altho' he loves it. Maybe something with a simular taste?
Second and last (for now, Tee Hee) What is a red onion? I've seen white, yellow, and purple but I have never seen a red one. Is there such a beastie? Or is the purple the same as red. If so, that's kinda dumb. Red is red and purple is a whole different ball game. Thank you in advance for being so tolerant of me and my questions.

Hi, Rd onion is the same as a purple onion, i think Cassia bark has a cinnamon taste you can add that whole and fish out after the dish is cooked
