Need birthday party Ideas for my husbands 27th birthday?
My husband turns 27 in November. Growing up his family never celebrated the kid’s birthdays. Complete opposite to how it was in my family. Ever since we got married I have thrown parties for him and he loves it! This year I want to have a themed party for him.

I would love ideas for unique themes, cake ideas, game ideas…anything

He loves football
Miami Dolphins
His truck
He is truly a country boy, a true southerner
He is a coal miner

I don’t want anything to childish or to adult. There is going to be mostly family at it and smaller kids too.

Please, nothing to expensive.
I am very crafty and try to make as much as I can. We also live out in the country and we don’t have those party stores. He have a Wal-mart about a half hour away. Beyond a dollar store Wal-mart is it, other than the computer.

Thanks ahead of time

Answers: Find a custom cake shop and get them to make a replica of his truck. Ask them to put some Dolphin paraphernalia on his truck and set the theme as Miami Dolphins. On the truck, you might also want the Confederate flag or maybe a sugar/chocolate figure of a John Deere tracker.
You could also get a cake that looks like a JD tracker and have a JD theme. That would be fun! Source(s):
I'm a cake professional decorator, I've had to come up with many party ideas. How about a Dolphins theme. Everything in Orange and Blue. a Football Cake. Hot wings, Mashed potatoes, Hot Dogs, Potatoses, Corn....like A tailgate party at home!!!
That should be fun :)
The ladies could dress up like cheerleaders.
You could have that game where the guys try to through the football through the hole in the board and do this for prizes.
You can have an obstacle course involving football.
Trivia, Quizzes. I think going with football would be the best.

Go to the dollar store buy a whole bunch of footballs and then make a slit in the top of them then widen the slip. Wrap the inside with clear wrap and then fill each one with different dips and dips.

For the food have chips and dip, hot dogs (if you have a sams club around or online buy those containers for hot dogs like they have at football games). Also have nachos and chili. Put a game on tv and have a good time Have old southern cowboy theme, Set it up with black jack, poker, and beer. You could serve ribs marinated in jack daniels with some cowboy spegehtti. Cowboy speghetti: hamburger meat, smoked bacon, chipole peppers. a tad bit of liquid smoke, and your favorite spegehetti recipe. Top with hickory smoked cheese. I think a countr theme would be good, and you should be able to get or make what you would need to pull it off.

Get the cheap straw hats, bandannas, a checkered tablecloth, some bales of hay...light up the grill and have hot dogs, burgers, baked beans and corn on the cob.

Theres a lot you can do with this theme very cheaply and it is a lot of fun for all ages!

You could do good old fashioned country games..tie two peoples legs together and have a race, horseshoes, gunny sack races...
