Answers: Get a piece of foil, and slice the spuds and onions if you have them onto the foil. Make it a fairly flat grouping. Dot with butter, maybe some spices like rosemary. Fold the packet up and grill.

Take it another step and make foil dinners. Have bowls out with the sliced meat, sausages, carrots, potatoes, onions, bell peppers, olives, whatever you like.

Each person takes a piece of foil and assembles their favorite combo. Then top it with a sauce. Have a selection like BBQ, gravy, teriyaki, italian salad dressing, honey mustard.

Seal each packet (the "butchers fold" is the best). Then grill on each side for about 15 minutes. Put each on a plate and tear open the foil. Eat directly from the packet if you want.

Note: I "sculpt" my packet into a particular shape (in my case, a very simple fish) so I can recognize mine. Some people write on the foil with mustard - it burns off but leaves ash showing what was written. Source(s):
Girl Scout leader, camp trained. You can use Italian dressing as a marinade. I have and it is delicious! Get you some long green onion and clean them up. Place them in foil add butter salt and pepper. Fold them shut and place on grill. Soak some corn on the cob in water, drain and throw them on the grill and let them steam in their own husks! When the out side is chard, Pill back the husk and rub some butter salt and pepper. You could even sprinkle lime juice on the corn and add salt and pepper. Either way all are good eats! Enjoy! what about fruit kabobs? Pineapple, peaches, nectarines on the grill are delicious! Bananas wrapped in foil are a winner. You could even split the banana and stuff with chocolate buttons before wrapping in foil.
Kebabs are easy. If using wooden skewers remember to soak them in water before using. It's a way of getting some veg as well as meat.
Marks and Spencers do something called barbecue biscuits which you could easily do yourself at half the price. Sandwich 2 giant cookies together with some chocolate spread or some buttons and put biscuit in a foil container. Put on BBQ Every one has great answers.... My only advise is to make sure you cook over white (hot) coals. I know it sounds obvious to those who often grill but to those who don't have all that experience or for those who are sometimes in a hurry---- you need to make sure you don't cook over flaming coals. AND when the coals do flame up have the following mixture prepared in a spray bottle: 3/4's water 1/4 soy sauce. This is one of the many variations you can use to "tame the flame" when flames pick up on your grill. I used to use beer too - when I grilled next to the keg! Try this dip for meats, veggies, especially chicken strips.

1 C. Miracle Whip
1/4 C. Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Lemon Juice (or more to desired taste).
1 quick dash of hot sauce if desired.

Hope you enjoy
