Answers: Well if its Black Tie, the ladies will be dressed in their very best....why not a contest......and prizes.....for......the most sparkly dress....the sexiest dress.....the I can't believe...***** wore that dress..she looks so good...., you can go on and on, in the contest.....the ladies will love it....and the men will applaude.....make sure the chubby ladies get some prizes, I am sure they will take extra time chosing their gowns.....also, the older ladies.....give one of them a prize for classiest gown,,,,prizes don't have to be elaborae....but gift wrap them nicely......a pretty scarf, a pin, a camera, you can use your imaganation,,,,,I wish I was invited........have fun!!!! Love a party, and love prizes!!!! dance floor play music of today not decades ago. it will be funny as hell Hire a party planner. They have tons of experience at this and you can choose what you do and don't want. I'd also go with the first guy and make sure there was a great DJ or band and a dance floor. Make sure the food is really good, and make sure there are plenty of drink options (both with and without alcohol). Just get them all to wear a black tie and nothing else. Now that's what I call fun. How about a fashion show and auction? You can coordinate local talent, clothing stores, modeling agencies and do a "runway" of upcoming fashions. The auction can be anything from your fashions to a date with an eligible bachelor or bachelorette. Donate the proceeds to a worthy cause or favorite charity. If that doesn't appeal, have a casino night with poker, keno, and other types of gambling. Again, proceeds go to a worthy cause.
