Dad's 80th b-day party photo ideas?!

Question:

Dad's 80th b-day party photo ideas?

We are having a "farm" themed party for him since he farmed cotton (and veggies) for years. I have a lot of pics that I want to display but don't have the 1st clue how to do anything but throw them out on a table. Any ideas for the pics or decor?

Answers: You could print some of them on iron on transfers, and apply to tee shirts that everyone could wear. Take your favorite one to the bakery and have it printed on top of his birthday sheet cake. You'll have to call around to find a bakery in tour area that does this. If you will be having lots of tables ( such as in a hall ) You can print his pictures on the back of the table number card tents. Do you know how to screen print ( or know someone who does )? You could print many of the pictures on fabric squares, and have them stitched together to make a pictorial quilt. Tack long ribbons against the wall and attach the pictures to the ribbons. Put them all in a large scrapbook and welcome your guests to look at it. Place in in an area where people will notice ( Maybe place a sign next to it, telling people to have a look ). You could create a collage with all the photos, print them up poster size and then display it at the party (maybe stick it on the wall?).

An alternate idea (and a birthday gift too), you can load the photos on www.kodakgallery.com and create a photo book. I did that for my dad's birthday last year and he loved it!! Kodakgallery also prints out poster-sized collages.

Happy Birthday to your dad!!! Take a plain folder colored - no pockets - and tape a few on the front inside and back and stand them up on the table... when the party is over you can put them all inside each other for an instant photo album. you could also use poster board. Do a giant poster with all the pictures and blessings from everyone.

Sing "Old MacDonald has a farm" that day~~

should jerks things up a lot~

have fun!
