Ideas for a birthday breakfast?!

Question:

Ideas for a birthday breakfast?

I'm having a birthday breakfast party. Would Breakfast at Tiffany's be a good movie to watch? Or would it be too boring for a couplea 15 year old girls??

THEMES FOR BAT'S party too, please, to get your 10 pts.

Or other breakfast party ideas

Answers: Breakfast at Tiffany's was what I was going to suggest before I even finished reading your question! My cousin's daughter just did this for her bday brunch & it was adorable! Theu used the "Tiffany" color scheme-Tiffany blue, white & silver. Blue for the tablecloth, white napkins with silverware rooled nside and silver ribbon tied around, white china with a silver band (her mom already had that, but it can be rented), crystal wine & champagne glasses for mock mimosas, etc. and the best part-a cake made into the shape & style of a Tiffany signature box! Many bakeries can easily do this!!! Personally, I'm near 15 and I think it's a weee bit too boring. Why not a movie they choose? They choose the movie, they all go to Blockbuster havin a good time laughin.

Pancakes, hashbrowns, ommelettes, french toast, bacon, anything you can think of for breakfast! "Breakfast at Tiffany's" might be boring for your generation. I don't know. I saw it years ago when it first came out. I notice that today's movies are fast-paced and I enjoy old movies less and less unless they're the ones I enjoyed very much in those days. The old movies are too slow compared to modern movies.
Breakfast party suggestions: You can prepare an egg casserole: beaten eggs (12),4 cups milk,2 pkgs cooked sausage, 4 cups bread cubed,2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, 1 teaspoon salt and pepper to taste: mix together and chilled the night before. Top with more of those shredded cheddar cheese.
Cook in oven for one hour before your party at 325 degrees , in ovenproof 9x13 casserole dish.
This can be your main entree. Then you can have side dishes of hash-browns if you can have someone or yourself cook that (or buy and cook following box instructions , the frozen tater tots or similar potato dish), bowl of fresh cut fruits, a plate of donuts for those who do not like the egg dish or hashbrowns, juice and coffee.
How's that?
Bat's party theme? Decorate the room with cut-outs of bats. If you can get a design, you can cut them out from black construction paper. Use scotchtape to attach to walls, chairs and other furniture. I hope this helps. I am not good with this kind of theme. For breakfast, everything! Pancakes, waffles, eggs, hash browns, bacon, potatoes, toast! Yummy, makes me hungry just thinking about it!

After a big dinner, I think I'd want to watching, but if you want to have some awesome fun, go to the mall! Awesomeness! bat sandwiches
White Bread
Mustard
Prosciutto, thinly sliced
Monterey jack cheese, thinly sliced

Spread slices of bread with mustard and layer with prosciutto and jack cheese to make sandwiches. Use a bat-shaped cookie cutter to make cut-outs out of completed sandwiches. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate.

EGGS BENEDICT

8 slices Canadian bacon - saute until heated through
8 poached eggs
4 English muffins (halved, toasted)

HOLLANDAISE SAUCE:

3 egg yolks
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tbsp. cold water
3/4 c. butter (1 1/2 sticks)
Salt and pepper (white pepper)

Combine egg yolks, lemon juice, salt, pepper and water in blender. Blend 10 seconds at high. Melt butter. As blender is running, add hot butter in a steady stream until mixture thickens (20 seconds). Serve immediately.
Layer English muffin with bacon, poached egg. Top with Hollandaise Sauce.

VEGETARIAN EGGS BENEDICT: Substitute Canadian Bacon for 1 (10 ounce) package frozen, creamed spinach - cooked according to directions.

Add 1 artichoke heart (unmarinated) for each muffin half.

Layer English muffin with spinach, eggs, artichoke heart. Top with sauce. It doesn't necessarily have to typical breakfast foods. I love the appetizer recipes by Giada DeLaurentis' (Everyday Italian on Foodnetwork.com) because they are light and flavorful. She never disappoints me!!! i think thats a good movie
