What is a good drink to serve at my party?!

Question:

What is a good drink to serve at my party?

I'm hosting a small party to celebrate my new RA job at college. I'll be meeting a lot of my residents and playing some poker with them. I'm serving fettuccine alfredo and some marvelous biscuits. I need a NON-ALCOHOLIC drink that is classy enough for the fettuccine, but fun enough for a party. Any suggestions?

Forgot to mention that when I move in I will have a full kitchen with all appliances too. Well congrats to you on your new RA position! You can still serve 'adult' drinks that are non-alcoholic :-)

Virgin margaritas and sangrias are perfect party drinks that will blend nicely with your main course. (Don't forget to include a nice salad too with the fettuccine.) Plus margarita and sangria can be made in large batches and served from a pretty pitcher.

I'm sorry but I don;t have any recipes off the top of my head, but check out foodtv.com for some ideas for a virgin margaritas and sangria.

Have fun and good luck! Make smoothies. Smoothies are good. Experiment with different fruits. 1/2 gallon rainbow sherbert and 1 2 liter bottle of ginger ale. You just poor the soda over the sherbert and serve.

the nice thing is that you can change the sherbert, but it looks and serves like a festive cocktail if you garnish with lemon or lime slices. super easy and super fast, no mess and since you dont have to have the sherbert frozen a freezer is not necessary. (serves about 12) buy some of the flavored syrups and club soda. the drinks are light and refreshing. take ginger ale and add green sherbert. Thehn take some green grapes and put a little piece of a rasin in it so it looks like eyes. Then freeze the grapes. After their frozen then put the grapes in the drink. :]
