Under $1000 kind of may be hard to pull of but if you want to rent out a hotel ballrom it all matters on how long your party is and how many people are attending .

Happy sweet 16!!!!!!!!! ja det ska bli kul Hotel conference/party rooms. Most can hold at least 100 people and they will let you decorate, but it all depends on the hotel. Try making your own invitations and adding special touches unless you have more than 100 people coming. i kno that htis might be a little cheesy, but have a big birthday bash at ur house with ur closest friends abd family. hi, i am having a s16 in april. i'm having mine at a grange hall. check for your town or near your town. they're usually small and my place cost $300. DJ $450 for 5 hours. try to find somebody in your highschool btw. Many towns have a grange hall Hmmm... You are going to be disappointed with my answer, but unless you have the help of an adult with a credit card, you will find it very difficult to reserve a "party" room. Often in addition to the cost of renting the room, there are other fees - like deposit, cleaning fees, linen fees, sometimes food service fees. A lot of hotels include a lot of these fees in the room rental - so when you are calling around ask what is included in the rental of the room - and how long you will have the room? You didn't state how many people would be attending - is the party a dinner party - will there be dancing? A band? Some places have catering requirements and music rules - a hotel near us doesn't allow music to be played after 10:00 (makes for a dull party, when thats when it should be the most fun!). If you are hosting a dinner party (no dancing) for your sweet 16, try reserving a banquet / party room / table large enough to accomodate your guests. A lot of restaurants will let you use this space at no cost (they want you to spend your money on food & booze), but again, may require a credit card deposit. If you reserve at a resaurant, don't tell them that it is for a sweet 16 - you will get more help in the beginning if they just know it is for a large dinner party (you can let them know later it is for a sweet 16) - don't forget restaurants make most there money on alcohol and since you and your friends can't drink, they will lose money on your large party. Lastly, you are running out of time - fortunately you are out of wedding season - which will make it a little easier, but now you will be competing with the holiday parties, you have A LOT to do in a short time: Location, food, entertainment - depending on the amount of people, you have easily spent way more than $1000.00. Did you know that in some places you can even rent out a movie theater? After you get started gathering the information you may find that it is way more work or way more costly than you anticipated - there is nothing wrong with having something different than what is expected, take your group to Laser Tag or miniature golfing and dinner. It doesn't have to be a sparkly ballroom to be memorable - your friends and family will help with that. Shoot, you may just want to do something really simple and pocket the extra cash for an amazing shopping trip! What ever you decide it will be nice as long as you accept it as being good enough. Good luck, oh and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!! :-) Hi,
My name is Erin and I'm a party coordinator at the Millenium Biltmore hotel. I've done sweet sixteen parties before, so I'm guessing you're expecting about 100ppl? Thats about 10 dollars a person...that will get you NOTHING but a coke for your guests. Hotel prices START AT 65$ person and go UP from there. I recommend you have a fun little beach party or something, because with 1000, you can only serve about 12 guests. Remember, service charge and tax together are about one-fourth of your total bill. And on top of that, there are food and beverage minimums...hotels in Texas have minimums of 2500, CHEAPEST. in other words, if you DONT spend 2500$, you're party can't happen. My sweetsixteener, Tiffany, offered me 5000 dollars for 50 guests and i still turned her down because it was too little, and look at you, 1000, you'll honestly get nowhere with that.
