Answers: Having boys and girls is always fun, but it officially makes the party big. Here are some ideas.

u could do a casino night and have everyone dress up and play gambling games and serve non-alcholic alcholic drinks.

u could do go-karting. my friend did this once and we had a BLAST!

since the party is in winter, you could have a hawiian themed pool party. if ur a member of a YMCA, u could use the indoor pool. this is a really neat idea b/c with summer so far away, kids will be craving a good swim.

U could also go bowling, roller skating, ice skating or anything like that.

If she really wants a "party" party, u could always rent out a large space at night and just let the kids dance. a tip for this party is to have few adults in the room b/c then they will feel asthogh they can let lose a little more. (trust me, at 12 they won't do anything u wouldn't want them to, but they'll like the freedom to kno they can, even though they won't.) ICE skating in gorilla suits or sumo wrestling costumes would really be funny and will help keep them from injury when they fall. When my daughter turned 13 I called these people who set-up for special occasions with a 13th bithday celebration sign and 13 cats on my lawn(her nickname is kitten) then when all her friends showed up they were amazed of the set-up, then we went to the mandarin for a buffet, great way to kill time, the kids loved it, it became a party from all the food and laughter, it was great, then came back home and gave out loot bags and sent them on their way. No mess to clean up. It was great.
