Sunday Football food to take to game get together?!

Question:

Sunday Football food to take to game get together?

OK guys, going over a friends to see the Jets - Giants game on Sunday, big get together as he's a massive Jets fan living in Atlanta now and I need some ideas of a snack/appetizer to take over (please don't say beer and chips n dip got those covered already), his wife always does a good spread, but still want to take something easy to make and eat over. Anyone got some good recipes?

Answers: Since it's for a group of guys who don't live with me here is a great recipe that we use for many get togethers.
In a crock pot combine any kind of bean that you can find. We use butter beans, Bushes baked beans, black beans, kidney beans, and canellinni beans. Brown 1 pound ground serloin, and one pound of ground sausage (cut up pieces of brats also work) Combine everything in the crock pot (don't drain beans) then add your favorite barbequ sauce ( husband swears by Sweet Baby Rays) or you could just salt and pepper because the juice from the beans will help it thicken. The longer you let this cook the day of the game the better. Beer I would say...a big plate of shrimp cocktails. You can always by those at your local market.

or...

Make some deviled eggs. You can find simple recipes on foodtv.com

Have fun.... This is awesome and simple we make it all the time for the game. Use as much or a little ingredients as you like.

brown up some burger and onion
add a packet of taco seasoning
crunched up dorito chips
catalina dressing, we use a half of a small bottle and hubby adds more to his

I also throw in either tomatos & lettuce, corn or rice.

and then a layer of cheese

feel free to throw it in the oven for five mins to let the cheese melt, but not nessecary Gotta have the Buffalo Wings! Try this,
Buy 3 or 4 boxes of the boneless chicken chunks, heat as directed then coat with either honey BBQ sauce or hot sauce, these always go over good.

or get 3 bags of the frozen meatballs heat in microwave for about 6 minutes put in crock pot with BBQ sauce, you can do the same with the mini smoke sausages, these are so easy and very yummy

3 bars cream cheese
3 packs of dried beef Like budding
1 bunch green garden onions
1 Tablespoon garlic powder
1 Tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
Mix well with your hands, form into a football shape put on plate serve with crackers cookies. they are a portable dessert. nonmessy. great for running back to the TV with. The guys always love them at my football parties. sweet and sour meatballs, either buy premade or make your own meatballs, then put them on low in a crock pot. in a large measuring cup pour 1/2 cup ketchup and 1/2 cup water and teaspoon of sugar and teaspoon of curry powder, adjust flavour to taste and more water if sauce is too thick then add to meatballs and warm.

sauce is for approx 30 meatballs so adjust accordingly. any leftovers good for dinner served over rice or as lunch heated on a crusty roll
