Should I celebrate?!

Question: It's my 25th birthday next weekend. I'm not happy about getting old but there's nothing I can do about it.
I kind of would like to do something for it but I don't have any ideas. Actually I'm a bit scared that if i organize something no one will show up (which will be worse than not celebrating at all).
Should I celebrate my birthday? Any Idea's on what to do. It would have to involve some alcohol even though I'm not a big drinker, my friends like to have a few.

Oh course you should celebrate. You cant stop time, and you are still young, so you might as well enjoy it. Its not like you are turning 93 and have a broken hip. Have a wine and cheese party and rock on!!!
You should go out on the town. Take a few close friends. That way, you don't have to worry about anyone "showing up" since you'll be out, and you can still make some plans as a sort of active way of celebrating. Depending on the bar-club scene in your area, the patrons of the night may join in your celebration!
Do something that you want to do, that could be fun if others show up. Maybe go bowling, and wear a shirt that says "It's my birthday!" and invite others ( yes strangers) to celebrate with you( at the bowling alley) Have a friend set up a birthday scavenger hunt all over town, and take pics with people with that same birthday shirt. If you think 25 is old, you're going to set yourself up for disappointment on later birthdays. Just enjoy your day!
Go to dinner and drinks with a few close friends. That way you won't have to clean up after.
Course you should celebrate, 25 isn't old!! Take a couple friends to a popular club. There will be lots of people there already, and if you make a commotion about your birthday you will suddenly have a huge ready made party!
When I turned 29 I stayed 29 and still have a birthday to get my gifts. I have done this 23 yrs now.
