Answers: ok, i am having a taco bar for my 21st birthday, and it is going to be for about 10 ladies, and i was wondering if anyone knows any ideas on how to create a taco bar, and all. and what i should have and stuff. any ideas, or anything will help. thanks. ten points to the best answer. all serious answers please. oh, and if anyone has some good ideas for some simple drinks to make, margaritas, martinis, ect. simple please. i dont want to feel like i am in chemistry class, and i dont want to buy ten diffrents things to make one type of drink. thanks for all the help. thanks.

For the Taco Bar you should arrange all the food in the order that people will eat it.

Tortillas (Flour/Corn)
Meat (Chicken/Beef)
Rice
Beans (Black or Refried)
Toppings (Cheese, sour cream, salsa)

Just arrange it on a counter or table. As for the drinks, you can go to Wal-Mart and get a large pitcher or container and mix up some drinks before hand. Try this one:

One can of frozen lemonade (you could also use Kool-Aid) mixed with water, add in one whole jar of cherries (all the juice too), and mix with tequila (add as much or as little as you like). It's a good drink that will go well with margaritas.

Love this dip

1 package of cream cheese
1- 8oz of sour cream
1 packet of taco seasoning
Mix all ingrediants together
serve with tortillas...yummy

Make like a buffet assembly, with hard and soft shell tacos.

as for the drinks

I love Pomagrante Martinis, all you need is pomagrante juice,and vodka. If you wanna be fancy you can use a flavord vodka, i have used absolute mandarine and lemone. Both were nummy

Or just do the standard margaritas.

A fun thing we do is take arbor mist, that cheap flavored wine and we blend it with ice to make slushies.

Start the buffet line with tortillas/taco shells, meat and refried beans, and then I use one of those tupperware-type things that has 6 -7 compartments, and fill it with the cheese, salsa, black olives, sour cream, diced tomatoes, lettuce - whatever. May need a bigger container for the lettuce.

Drinks for a taco party can be really simple: bottle of Cuervo gold and a bottle or two of margarita mix. Put the blender and a cooler full of ice out and you'll be on your way. Limes, salt and shot glasses, too. Beer and water/soda on ice for those who don't want tequila.
