Anyone know a nice venue to throw a birthday party for 250 guests in Dublin?!

Question: Im throwing a joint surprise birthday party for my folks next year and I'm kinda stumped when it comes to venues in the city.

It's got to have a bar located in the room and accommodate at least 250 people.

Has anyone been to or know of a venue like this around the South Dublin/ City Centre area? And any ideas of prices would be great too!

Thanks

Try Jury's Hotel Ballsbridge.
get a big marquee in that massive park in dublin?
Does it have to be Dublin? Bray may be cheaper - you could try The Esplanade on the sea front in Bray. We went to a function there and it was fantastic, couldn't fault their food, service and of course the bar. The do great deals on their rooms too.
Since there are so many people, have you thought about renting a party room at a hotel? You can also talk to the hotel and get pricing for food, decorations and have them set up a bar in the room.
Quentins! :)

I'm just joking. I've never been to Dublin, but I loved the Maeve Binchy book about the restaurant Quintins.
