Cabbage salad-half a head grated red cabbage and 2 carrot and 2-3 raddishs-mix with white vinger and a drop of olive oil

A potato salad would perfectly compliment your meal. Otherwise, steaming mashed potatoes with some bacon and chives mixed through would be good. Or even a hot potato bake, using plain potatoes, sliced carrots and sweet potato or pumpkin in alternating layers.
