  • tell them that you are the celebrant and that you are not having any alcohol at the party. Be firm, dont fall into peer pressure
I'd go with a no on that one. If your friends need alcohol to have a good time then there is something wrong with them. Tell them they can have some pizza and soft drinks and stop being childish.
doing what is right is not always what is easy.
    don't start caving in.
your friends will still be your friends.
You don't need alcohol...and I know you heard it before, but they aren't your true friends if they get mad if you don't have it.

you can always make virgin style drinks, like pina calados, strawberry dacquers, etc. that would be fun, especially at a sleep over.
dont let anyone, no matter who pressure you. you are not old enough to drink so suggest different theme to your night
    Tell your friends No way!
Yes, it's normal for you to want to do this and it's normal for you to be "pissed" for several reasons! 1) Because you're too young to be drinking, and you know it's wrong. 2) Your friends are pressuring you. 3) If your parents did find out you would be dog meat!!!

I would just tell your friends that you don't want to be grounded for the rest of your teenage life.

Easier said than done, but try not to rush things by growing up too fast. You have plenty of time to do all of these things. Enjoy being 14. Stay up late at your party and drink toonnns of Cokes for that caffeine rush. That's what we always did when we were your age.
    UMMMMMMM DUH?/
    #1 ITS ILLEGAL
#2 YOU CAN GET IN TROUBLE HAVING A BUNCH OF 14YR OLDS RUNNING AROUND DRUNK<<UNCONTROLABLE
    #3 nEED I SAY MORE?
    Have you ever drank alcohol?

Don't give in to peer pressure.

Alcohol is not good for you health.

A key ingredient to having a fun life is to have a healthy life.

    I don't drink alcohol, I don't smoke.

But my parents did not teach me to eat healthy, now at 36 years old I'm overweight and it is hard for me to have fun with my daughters that are 12 and 8.

They can out run me and I get tired before they do.

Watch out for you health and pick friends that will too.

Learn from the mistakes of others so you don't have to go through the pain they did.
Don't do it since even though it seems fun at a young age you won't like it when you get older, plus you would get into a lot of trouble and your parents would probably never trust you for quite a while, they aren't really good friends if they're doing that.
It's ILLEGAL! Friends don't make friends drink, do drugs or smoke!
Ok, let's say that you give in to your friends and you have alcohol at your party. You and your friends all get drunk. One of them goes to use the bathroom, is so drunk that she falls and hits her head on the bathtub. It kills her. What do you think would happen? Your parents would be charged. Contributing to the delinquency of minors. The girl who died? Her parents most likely would sue the pants off of your parents because she was at your house in their care.

So, should you listen to your friends? Or be a responsible, mature 14 year old?
I agree with the no's, but I say make a bunch of virgin drinks - the daquiris, margaritas, mudslides, but don't tell your friends they're non alcholic! Then watch as they make fools of themselves because they think they're drunk
Absolutely you should not have drinks. If something happened, your parents could be sued and or put in jail. Aren't your parents going to be at the party? Can't you just tell your friends you can't cuz your parents will be checking on you. If they get pissed, that's too bad. They'll get over it.
If they're true friends they won't be upset. Getting p!ssed at 14 isn't normal.
NO ITS ILLEGAL .. I WOULD CHOSE BETTER FRIENDS.
Hey, tell them if they want alcohol at a party to have it at their own house. They are only trying to get you in trouble. Just let them know you have more respect for yourself and your parents. You really don't want to lose your parents trust.
wait till yer 16----------------- we were young once and yes we been there got the t shirt.
Remind your friends that drinking under the age of 21 is illegal and ask them how their parents would react if they found out they wanted to drink. Drinking doesn't make you cool, standing up for yourself does!
Upset your friends is far better than illegally drinking and upsetting your parents not to mention risking your health!

Tell your mates there will be no alcohol. You could state that your parents have said they are going to do spot checks so you are not prepared to risk it.
