Answers: I have only ever had it home-made....and I think I like it that way.
cant imagine eating anywhere but home @ christmas,I feel sorry for the people that have to work on christmas to boot!
Home made,
Christmas dinner can be a big chore, but having it at home is what makes memories. If there's a cook in the house, of course that helps a lot! I once had a holiday dinner in a restaurant and believe me, it was a disappointment! It wasn't the cooking, it just wasn't home. If cooking isn't your thing, maybe a holiday dinner made by a restaurant (Marie Callendar's does a good one) would be an option. At least you could eat it in a home-like setting.

Good job for planning ahead..
Great question Bex!

I like homemade Christmas dinner, though only because I love all the leftovers! lol
If I could take a doggy bag home from a resturant (an asda size one) then I'd probably go to a resturant!
We've ate out once and it wasn't the same on Christmas night eating crisps instead of turkey and stuffing! lol
Definitely home-made Christmas dinner. Our family always had a big ham dinner, with mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, corn, green beans, gravy, rolls, and biscuits. Apple pie or sometimes apple crisp for dessert. It was setup in a buffet fashion, where you took a plate and walked around the table to select the items you wanted to eat. The cousins would eat in front of the TV in the Front Room and all the Adults would eat in the dining room. We had our feast the Saturday prior to Christmas Day.
I once had Christmas dinner at a Chinese restaurant with my friend, but that was when I wasn't living near any of my own family. It was a surreal experience, I can assure you, yet it was pretty cool to be having Chinese food on Christmas day, as the main meal.

However... I don't think anything is better than a home-cooked meal during the holidays, being with your family. Nothing beats that slice of pumpkin pie and cup of coffee at the end of the meal, especially if that pie is homemade.
Either works for me.
Home made all the way. I have had it at restaurants when my grandparents were too old to travel far and couldn't have it at their house. And do you know, I don't remember those occasions as I do when we have it at the house.
Absolutely homemade. Christmas is a time for families to be together not at a restaurant. Serve your favorite traditional meal.
Dinner at home and a movie at the theater in the evening.
My family has always had a home-made Christmas dinner.
Home made Christmas dinner is always the best.
Homemade Christmas dinner because you can eat at a restaurant at any time of the year
Homemade I love Christmas dinner one year I'd been up with the kids that early that I got a head of myself and we ended up having it about 11 in the morning couldn't believe when I noticed the time good job there was only me and the kids but I would like to go out one year perhaps when the kids are grown up.
Well even a simple dinner in home made with love and care would beat the finest and most expensive food in any resturant of the world.
Love is the best recipie.
So ,home made christmas is the one for me.
yer putting the bird in the oven on low heat at midnight .getting all the veg done at 6am .dishing it up at 12.00 .wash up and sit down to watch the Alamo for the 20th time yep that's Xmas for you..
