ok so like a get together. it would be fun to have some sort of neighbourhood party. invite the people in your neighbourhood and friends for a BBQ. (BBQs are simple) start with who, what, when, where. who is invited, what they are coming for, when the party is and where the venue is. if you have a grill and a big enough yard for the guests then, its easy to have it at home. once thats done, go onto food. basic hot dogs, hamburgers will do. maybe toss a salad. its fun to just talk and meet new people if you go with the neighbourhood idea. have fun!
First find out how many people will be attending, then all you need after that is enough beer food and a DJ. Good Luck
you should plan food and entertainment first get your date then make cards or flyer's......then just fill in the lose ends.
First think about how many people will be there.

Then go down to your local supermarket and see all the wonderful dinner selections they have i.e; Chinese/Indian/Mexican dinner for two, four or six, etc etc.

Step by step guide on how to cook food leaving you with plenty of time to let the guests enjoy your company.

Brilliant and food and you can have a stress free evening actually being able to spend time with the people, after all that is why you invite them isn't it?

P.S don't forget some wine!! (or other mind altering liquids!)
hire an airship/submarine/train/coal mine etc
Buy alcohol, call some friends
