How do I know if i'm drinking plastic or not?!

Question: If I put really hot water, not necessarily boiling, but pretty hot water in to the plastic juice pitcher, how do I know if I am, or am not drinking plastic? doesn't water just taste like plastic sometimes? Like chicken can taste like lettuce, or chicken can taste like nothing... unless you are a good cook

The plastic juice pitcher shouldn't have a melting point that is lower than the boiling point of water, so you should be okay.

If you want to be absolutely certain, though, use a glass pitcher instead.
