I want to give a really unique invitation to a party - any ideas?!
Answers: looking for a different/unique party/event invitation - any ideas would be appreciated.
Well, since you didn't mention what your party theme will be, I can suggest a couple things that might work:
Make up a code alphabet and write all your party information using the code. For example, write out the date, as in October Thirty-first, two thousand-seven and then plug one letter or symbol for each letter used, but all Ts are the same and so on. You have to give away the solutions to some of your coded letters, like giving them your name with the corresponding code above it.
Make your invitation information in jumbled words, but in an order most people can figure out:
MITE: P7M = Time: 7PM
CLAPE = Place
TEDA = Date
A ATRYP OT BELECTARE NEWLALHEO
A PARTY TO CELEBRATE HALLOWEEN
And so on.
Or, you could record yourself reading the invitation and attach it to an email to each guest.
Or you could make an outrageous invitation on the computer and send it as an attachment. Do it as an animation in Flash or in MS Paint.
Good luck, I hope one of these ideas works for you or gives you an idea you like better!
what kinda party?
everybody must wear a tail
it's not really unique unless you come up with
you're own idea
(That's what my mom told me when I asked her!)
If you have some kind of theme for the party, use that. For instance- if it's a movie night the invite could be like a ticket stub "Admit One"..or if the party is like a game night your invite can be like a trivia card or game token.... Music and dancing?-- do invite on a blank CD or in blank CD Case
If you have a main food idea it can be something about that if serving pasta invite can be shape of Italy or something similar..
Mexican food do the same paper shaped like a taco or mariachis (those instruments u sake) or hey!1 take round piece of off white paper- write your invite info in center around top & bottom edges attach some crinkled layers of green (lettuce) yellow( rice) red (tomato) and brown( beans) and roll up to look like a burrito. Tie ribbon around and deliver like rolled burritos. Bit more arts & crafty- but rememberable!
Chocolate cake for dessert- wrap your invite on paper around a hershey bar and pass out the candi--vites!
Just figure out what kind of fun you are hoping to have and choose something to represent what they can expect for the night...
but the best advice for a party is to relax and just have fun..otherwise why have a party at all?? !
start with a theme then it is easier to find a unique invite
