Sweet Sixteen Planning Help??!

Question: I've been planning my sweet sixteen for about 2 years now and at first it was just little things I'd see in magazines and cut them out but being that my 16th birthday is this upcoming June, I'd like to get more serious with the planning. So, that being said, I'd like to stay away from a casual party--I definitely want semi- formal or formal. My parents have given me a budget of around 2 to 3 thousand dollars so I guess I can do alot with that? I have 2 party planners but I don't start meeting with them until 2 weeks from now so I'd like to hear some of your ideas! I want something that shows off my personality. I feel like once I have a theme, I can go far from there. I have three that I really like but I'd like a few more if possible. One idea was an 'Enchanted Garden', another was 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', and the last was 'Pink Elegance'! Im a pretty sophisticated girl, very serious about important things but really silly when I know its the right time! Thanks in advance! =)

Here are some ideas
*Carribbean Paradise theme...
- like a festival... like the big carnival they have in Trinidad
-you could have a steel band
-i would be fun, entertaining, and elegant at the same time
-yummy Carribbean food (kind of like what they serve at Bahama Breeze http://www.bahamabreeze.com/menus/)

*Cinderella Theme/Fairytale theme
-you'll feel like a princess
-it would be formal and elegant

good luck with your party
hope i helped
preppy party, all white party
"Breakfast at Tiffany's" would be a perfect theme- it's extremely classy and easy to do.
That's a really good idea.

You could buy a little black dress and dress up as Audrey Hepburn..

Have you seen the fourth episode of Gossip Girl?
If not, watch the first five minutes of the episode, and try to copy what Blair Waldorf is wearing.
my sweet sixteen was last year heres what we did
me and my friends arrived by white strech limo
the inside of the party was decorated in pink and white
we offered free limo rides to the guests
