This is a great site.

Lots of pary ideas for all ages.
I don't think a jumper is a good idea for a 12 or 13 year old maybe for 5 or 6 years old. ask them what they want? my 12 year old likes karaoke.. "not sure how to spell it"
if you want to rent something look in your phone book and call party rental places and ask them want they do for the pre teen party's in your area.... call around.... or ask your kiddo's friends what they think would be a cool idea... ask your kids I'm sure they have their own ideas ... I would think before getting a jumper . that would be like throwing a BARNEY party.. or a barbie party.
have fun but let the kids lead...
good luck!!!!!
Jumper for 12 year olds?? How about a good old scavenger hunt. We did one last year and the kids had a blast.
I had a slumber party for my niece and we did and scavenger hunt with a twist. we had two teams with drivers and let's say 30 minutes to do the hunt. and for some of the questions we made a riddle they had to figure out right before the had to go get whatever it was. like for example " Get a cup from the box" ? and they drove to Jack in a box to get a cup.
Take a picture with a sign that begins with the first letter in your names. and each people has to take a pic with a sign that begins with their names. or take a picture with a store manager or ask a stranger for something in purse or wallet then take a picture with them. you can go on and on I can help with more questions if you let me know what kind of store and fast food places are by you.
The girls had a blast and have been bugging me to do it again
You could play cards-It depends on the crowd you hang with. (And what your parents boundaries are "for fun" You could simply hang out in the yard or house and dance to some music, barbecue, play a little horseshoes, or even video games. Or dirt bikes, and all that! Just think about what you and your friends like to do-and what a compromise between you and your folks will allow. (Of course!!!!!) Happy Birthday by the way-know this won't be your most favorite answer, but I gave it my best shot.
You can have:
- Dancing
- Arts and crafts
- Karaoke
- Sports (wiffle ball, baseball, frisbee)
- Lots of food and snacks
- Movies
