Need some party ideas!!?!
Answers: i am having a 21st birthday in about three weeks. and i am still stuck with what i want to do! i need some ideas for decorations, and centerpeices, and some drink and food ideas. i am kinda going with a sex and the city theme. you know fabulous, glamorous, and sexy. but not to romantic. it is all girls. it is about ten girls. so if anyone has any good tips, please let me know. all serious answers only. ten points to the best answer! thanks.
for center pieces get the oversized giant martini glasses and fill with red jellybeans (or red lollies) to replicate the SATC signatory drink.. cosmo - which of course will be getting mixed up all night!
This will also be an edible feature people can snack on.
I used this once at a girls movie night.. La Premier we called it and had drapped Red/HotPink Organza curtains around the room and on a table had the glass filled with jelly beans and since there was only four of us had four normal sized martini glasses around it to use to 'scoops' which we filled from the main one instead of using bowls.

well if have a favorite color thats alway good to go with and another color to contrast it and for center bottle of wine or some other beverage with printed labels on them that happy B-day or what ever

Theme: Sex in the City Pajama party (Think cozy, romantic, bashfully sexy and tasteful). Main color: amber
Location: A hotel room suite with thick carpets and lots of pillows. Better if you can bring your own throw pillows and beanbags in. Color must be white/beige. Dim the lights. Yellow light.
Theme outfits: Lingerie, then provide bunny slippers for the guests which they can take home after
Decorations: Condom Balloons (preferably amber or yellow glow in the dark colors. Just choose 1 color, make it monochromatic to make it tasteful). Taper candles of different sizes strategically positioned around the room. Please be conscious of fire hazards.
Centerpieces: Balloons and fluffy bunnies.
Drinks: rum mango cooler, creamy coladas (just add a bit of cream to fruit coolers, shake. try to keep it to mangoes, pineapples, peaches, apricots...),
Foods: finger foods: try to get sticky finger foods so you have to lick your fingers. And cake with meringue icing. If you want, hire sexy waiters to serve wearing pants, bowties and jumpers with no shirts. you can also rub oil on their skin before hand and brush some gold powder on them to make them glisten.)
Added set-up: As they enter, let them log on to a "journal" blog on a laptop... ala Carrie, instead of a guest book.
Try not to overdo the sex part, the condom balloons are suggestive enough.
