What should I do for my 16th (girls only) birthday party?!

Question: I'm still debating on what to do for my 16th birthday party. However, I was thinking of throwing an amazing party like the ones on My Super Sweet 16, but I'll do that next year instead.

This year, I'm having an all girls party (15-20 closest friends), but don't know what to do... Pool, BBQ, & bonfire party (pool party at the community pool then BBQ and bonfire in my backyard b/c we have a firepit and BBQ place)... Bowling?... Going out for dinner like at BJ's or CA Pizza Kitchen?... Spa? WHAT else??!

Please give me more ideas! I want to have the best, most fun birthday party ever! I simply just want to have LOTS of fun with my friends. Also, I was thinking of maybe renting a limo, but if I did, where would we go?

Also, what kinds of party favors should I give my friends?

Here are some ideas for your party...

1. Do a scavenger hunt. Divide into two teams of 4 people. Enough to fit in one car. Give each team a digital or polaroid camera and a list of items to find. After one or two hours teams will return to your house and turn in their items. Have a BBQ and people can share pictures and stories of the scavenger hunt and determine the winner. Each picture is worth a different amount of points. You can collect tangible things as well as pictures of the team doing things. Some ideas are:

1. A picture kissing a handsome stranger (the group can vote how many points depending on how handsome)
2. A picture of how many people they can get in a phone booth (one point per person, two if the get people to join in not on their team)
3. A picture with the team posed in crowns from Burger King.
4. A picture with the team standing in front of a Hooters restaurant lifting their shirts over their faces and showing their hooters. (One point for each male and five points for each female)
5. A picture of a team member lying on a pool table.
6. A picture standing or swimming in a park lake.
7. A picture of a team member wearing a trenchcoat.
8. A picture of the team on a slide in a playground.
9. A picture of the men on the team in a women's rest room
10. A picture of the team playing football (bonus if they are wearing helmets)
11. A picture of the team in one dressing room at a department store.

You can also have tangible "Things" on the list that are worth a certain number of points.
-- 1 point items:
paper clips, old movie tickets, a garden tool from the neighbor, napkins or matchbooks from a bar, etc
-- 3 point items:
Include things like an autograph of a high school quarterback or cheerleader (someone from your party)a nametag from a convienence store clerk (bonus points for the longest name), the sexiest pair of boxer shorts or underwear from a neighbor or someone is wearing at the party.

2. Have a BBQ/pool party. If you have a pool, get some Tiki torches from home depot, some leis and inflatable palm trees from Party City, and have everyone wear their bathing suits. You can also get some Christmas lights and string them in the trees real cheap. For music, you could have an iPod with speakers. Play some games like limbo, or if there is a pool, do a belly flop contest, There is also skinny dipping at midnight, my all time favorite!

3. Play Kick Ball or Wiffle Ball. I hosted a wiffle ball party a few years ago. Everyone had fun! With five acres you should have plenty of room. Play an hour and then go back to your house and BBQ. Your menu can include hot dogs and peanuts just like the ball park. You can make a party goodie bag for everyone with a pack of baseball cards, bubble gum, and small toys.

4. Play strip poker. Tell everyone in advance so they can come dressed however they would feel comfortable. Some people might wear crazy print pattern boxers, sports bras, sexy lingerie, or long underwear, whatever they are comfortable wearing as underwear around other people. Take a group photo before the game starts with everyone dressed. Once you lose and you are in your bra and undrewear, then you are out. Once the game ends, take another photo with everyone in their underwear. For those who are shy, they can wear a paper bag over their head. When I did this it was twelve people. The party was alot of fun and the photo was the best part. Everyone wanted a copy of the photos.

5. Murder mystery. You can buy these games at most games stores or Hallmark stores. The Game kit includes invitations, characters for each person, costume ideas, and menus to serve in theme with the party. I have done two of these parties and both were a success. If you have a barn, decorate it so it is in the theme of the party.

6. Some party games ideas, but not necessarily a theme.
-- Frozen T-shirt contest. The day before the party, get T-shirts wet and put them in the freezer. At the party, whoever can get the shirt on first is the winner.
-- Truth or dare. I know it is cliche and usually ends up amounting to nothing, but it is almost a rite of growing up. If you want to try a different approach, have everyone write five questions for the truth jar and two dares for the dare jar. Each person has to choose from one or the other until they are all gone. This is good for two reasons. First, you might draw your own dare so they aren't too crazy like run down the street naked or something ridiculous that can't be done. Second, it doesn't turn in to escalating dares that become ridiculous and then everyone just chooses truth.
-- I never. Each person takes a turn saying something like I have never kissed a boy or I have never ridden a roller coaster. If you have done what the person says, then you lose a point, take a drink, etc.
-- Chubby Bunny. Each person puts one marshmallow in their mouth and then says “Chubby Bunny”. Without swallowing, they put another marshmallow in their mouth and say “Chubby Bunny” again. If they spit out any marshmellows or can’t say “Chubby Bunny” then they are out. Keep going until there is one player left.
-- Burping Contest. Get some soda. Everyone gets three tries and the loudest, grossest, stinkiest burp wins. Each person can drink some soda and then burp. Have a judge or the group vote for the winner.

Have fun!!!

Try going to an amusement park

GO SKATING AND OUT FOR DINNER THEN HOME FOR GAMES GIVE THEM GIFT BAGS

omg i always have the same problem. every year i have no idea wut to do. ok so for my sweet sixteen i am going to have a big party but since you are doing that next year wut i would do is rent a limo. then i would have everyone go to like cirque de soilie or something like that. if that's not ur thing then you could go to an awsome hotel and get anicures, pedicures, that kind of stuff. also, at some hotels they have these people called concieres who's job is to pretty much do anything you need. if you want mcdonalds sent to your room, they will send a "runner" (someone who goes to get the stuff) and they will dot thier best to get it for you!!! i know freakin awsome!!! if you go on yahoo and type in like party ideas, they sometimes have good ideas on the internet. hope i helped :)

You should find a Mary Kay (or other beauty specialist). They often will come and give everyone facials, manicures, and/or pedicures for free. Since its all girls they would love it. As the host you get free gifts and your friends get pampered for free. I had one of these and it was a great. My friends thought I had paid for it and were very thankful.

why not do all of that? bowling/pool party during the day then get back home for bbq.

As far as what to do...ask the girls themselves. as for food. FONDUE!
