First inlist a freind or neigbhor who can help you make and heat up all this food.

Make a HUGE salad and borrow a HUGE bowl from somewhere. Make sure you have a back up of salad when the first amount is gone Buy Italian dressing or use the seasoning packets and mix up a batch of your own.

Then make a HUGE batch of pasta (like penne) with sausage, meatballs, or chicken mixed in. You can buy those throw away roasting pans and cook up four boxes of pasta and add four jars of sauce and the meats.

Make several big loaves of garlic bread and split them down the middle then cut into small slices. Use those big $2.00 Italian bread loves from the grocery stores and buy a jar of garlic spread. Slather it on the split bread and wrap the loves into foil for baking.

Have a friend help you bake a bunch of cupcakes, cookies, brownies etc so you have a bakery dessert buffet and make sure you can borrow a big coffee urn that makes 40 cups.

Borrow a punch bowl and mix a punch that everyone will drink. Stay away from the floating sherbet stuff. It sounds nice but it looks AWFUL after a few minutes. Try some 7UP or ginger ale mixed wth pomegrante juice and a little grenadine. You could add white wine to this or even vanilla vodka ( YUM!)

Chinese chicken salad with sesame dressing(on the side so it won't get soggy), fresh french bread or rolls w/butter, marinated cucumbers, marinated tomatoes, pasta salad, potato salad or macaroni salad(not store bought, yuck), sliced cheeses, sliced salami and turkey, fresh french bread sandwich rolls(build your own sandwich), veggie platter, stuffed olives, pickles(gerhkin, bread n butter, spicy dills), crockpot beans and weinies(little sausages) or crockpot BBQ sauce w/tomato sauce and weinies(little sausages), and hot, hearty soups. All are easy to make, filling, and easy on the pocket book if you shop Costco. Hope this helps with your party. Don't stress, have fun!

Go the supermarket and buy a few sticks/loaves of french bread. ask the deli section/bakery section to slice it up thinly, or slice it yourself. buy several types of not-too expensive cheeses.
arrange the bread on a big platter and put the cheeses in the middle.
Cut up LOTS of watermelon, pineapple, fruits like that.
Also, make spaghetti or little sandwiches.
make pasta salad and pizza!!

All about finger food. Cut up veggies, fruit, breads and cheeses (buy them in bulk and cut them up yourself to save the cash), and maybe a dip or 2.

first buy all your stuff from Aldi, you can get so much for your money shopping there on a budget. deviled eggs are very cheap, veggies and dip, make sandwiches of all types (even PB&J!) cut tem into 1/4's with a toothpick with an olive or little tomato on it (will look very fancy), they have these really yummy taquitos in the frozen section, make some cookies, taco dip is a must have at any party, chez & sausage
