Trust me, your child could care less :) Prepare a simple meal, and invite family and friends. No need to go overboard. The highlight, will be photo the opportunities...nothing like seeing frosting smeared over his/her little face...too cute ! I'm not familiar with Manila, but I'm sure that you probably have options. Happy Birthday,to your little one !

Home is the very best place. Do some stuff that you really enjoy, and have the baby,s favorite dinner. Most else will probably overwhelm your baby!

well, considering that your kid is only turning one, youre going to want a super cheap, kid friendly, camera friendly place. no one is going to care if you pick mcdonalds (i had my 4th birthday there), because chances are, there will be other moms there who understand that your priority here is convenience and fun. of course, im not suggesting mcdonalds is new, but i dont know a single one year old who doesnt love a playplace. i dont know where manila is, but if it is warm out, a local park would be perfect too. slides, leaves, colorful plastic stairs, voila, one year old heaven.plus, parks are usually pretty and green, and will give you tons of photo ops.

at 1 your child will not even remember. A 1 year old party is more for the family than the baby. We had all of our first and second birthday parties at home.

Just go out for a family meal or stay at home, the baby won't know or care....save your money for when they are older and are demanding bigger and bigger parties!
