Answers: If its supposed to be a over the hill party or mid-life crisis...

You're good for a 50th....

Technically "over the hill" can be anything 30, 40, 50, 60.... I decorated my office for a co-worker that was turning 30 because I knew it would get her goat. I don't think it falls at any certain age.

If it's not a sore spot (or even if it is, in some cases) over the hill parties are fun for any age. Especially if they make a big deal of getting old and have a sense of humor about it.

Go to Spencer's Gifts and Party City... they have tons of Over the Hill stuff!!
Have fun with it!!!

I always thought that over the hill meant you were turning 50. it could also mean a mid-life crisis. So it's probably a combo of both! Has he wanted a motorcycle yet?? :)

Over the hill is for 50 years old. And I have some great ideas, I remember when my mother turned 30, she was freaking out because she had me when she was 19 so she felt really old at 30. So to rub it in my dad and uncle threw her a surprise party and themed it over the hill. They went ALL out! All the guys dressed up as grim reapers and my uncle used a fog machine and blacklights! And my aunt had all the women wear black and bought all supplies in black. Everyone had a GREAT time and it was a really neat/different party! :o) Goodluck!

Anything 40 and over is over the hill...

I have never been a fan of over the hill for any age! I think your hubby would appreciate "fifty and fabulous!"party, or you might end up with a mid-life crisis!

"OTH" I would think would be 50. But 50 is niffty is a good motto.

I suggest putting a positive spin on his party since it sounds like he's going through mid-life crisis. For his present give him tickets to Cancun and a thong. This way he can strutt his stuff by wearing his speedo and thong and hopefully no one you know will see him. lol

I always thought it was for people turning 50, but in recent years I've seen it get way out of hand. My aunt was using "over the hill" things for my cousin when she turned only 30! I got her a card that said "With sympathy on the loss of your twenties..." It was funny. But yeah, my answer is age 50. Maybe you could make it a combination over the hill/midlife crisis thing!

i suppose it is... but i would do fifty and fabulous! It seems so much better.

it means your turning 50

I am 50 and I am NOT over the hill. Although I have seen those gaudy decorations for the Over The hill Gang . He did not buy a pair of speedos , did he ? Really ?

I always heard that it was 40 but now that I am close I think the correct answer is 50. lol

This is a great question. Now I think it depends on you and your circle of friends. I'm in my 20's and to us 30 is over the HILL!!! No offense everyone!! We just like to poke fun at our buddies who are kickin the last 20's bullet. So I think whatever you feel Go with it! It's meant to lift someone's spirits! I love the stuff they have out there for Over the Hill (Diapers!!Sagging Body Parts!) Hysterical! :0) Well if he did buy a speedo....yikes Mid-Life!! Happy Entertaining!
