Question: Have you ever looked on the side of a Haagen Dazs Ice Cream container to see what it says? It says...Serves 4.. LOL!

You're obviously talking about a pint.

It probably makes the calories and carbohydrates seem smaller, appealing to a health-conscious individuals. That's what most people look at when they read the nutritional facts anyways . They might not even notice the serving size.

They're not a joke. If all Americans would follow the "serving sizes" we wouldn't have a country with an obesity problem.

Well...I'd say there are two reasons for it: first, packaged food ppl are into a business which they dont want to ruin by giving large amt of food for the current price and sencondly, they dont want to jeopardise ppl's health by doling out large quantities of junk food....

Because they don't want you to sue years later when you have a heart attack or diabetes complications from all that ***** unhealthy sh*t you ate.

They want the figures to look good when you look at it quick in a store.
