You seem to have a lot of sweet stuff. I would suggest either going all sweet or savory with one or two sweet things. You also have a lot of drinks. Also, mozz sticks aren't really good room temp, so you will be constantly frying them. I would really rethink your menu. I am not trying to be mean, just trying to guide you in the right direction.

Since it's winter wonderland I wold suggest that you keep all of your food and drinks warm. Also, there's nothing wrong with a dessert party. Vary the level of sweetness. For example your chocolate coated pretzles are sweet and salty. A nice flavor combo. Sugar cookies are great. What about a rugelah or cheese cake type dessert for something sweet that's not really sweet. Tart apples and warm caramel. Maybe some cholocalte fondue. I would skip the cold drinks all thogether except for pop and water. Hot chocolate, have candy canes for swivel sticks. Hot apple cider with cinnamon sticks for swivel sticks. Chais, Lattes, etc. You get the point.

ya......thts nice...ths...thts good.hmm .....mmm yeah.

I think that is a wonderful menu. For the salsa have several kinds including one with fruit like a mango salsa; assorted crackers and cheeses would be a nice addition.

LESLEY'S MANGO SALSA

2 ripe mangoes
2 apples (Braeburn or Cameo are a good choice)
1 small sweet onion
2 limes
2 tablespoons fresh cilantro
salt

Dice mangoes, apples and onions into small pieces. Chop cilantro. Combine.
Squeeze juice of limes over salsa. Salt to taste. Serve with tortilla chips.

PATRICK'S MANGO SALSA

12 roma tomatoes, seeded, diced
1 red onion, diced
5 jalapenos, diced(add 1/4 habenero pepper for extreme heat)
2 mangos, diced
1 cup finely chopped cilantro
1 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 cup olive oil
1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
1 tbsp tobasco or other pepper sauce

MIx all of the ingredients together. Refridgerate for 1 hour and then serve. Keep in mind that the salt will draw out the juices from the ingredients and so the mixture may have to be drained from time to time. Save the juice for Bloody Mary's or Caesar.

Add some little smokies in a crock pot with grape jelly and chili sauce.

I would get a tray of those little sandwiches that the deli makes at the grocery store. They usually only need 24 hours notice. Our grocery store also has chicken tenders, etc... that are really good! Maybe you can get a tray of those!

I like the menu however, I'd suggest serving the drinks in regular clear plastic holiday glasses as opposed to martini glasses. No need for teens to play act drinking alcohol.

You have a good start. Your menu includes a lot of sweets, so to balance it out I would go for a nice medium spicy salsa with tortilla chips and maybe some plain salted chips with an onion dip. Also add a veggie tray with ranch dip, some cut up fruit, maybe even some crackers.

Actually that age group nowadays have distinctive palettes. However if you wanna keep it simple do hoagies (remember vegetarians) or paninis (depending on where you live). Mini pizzas, cupcakes and cheesecake bars are good options. Rice Krispy treats? They may be offended! Chicken wings (buffalo or bbq), jalapeno poppers and quesadillas too!

Sounds good to me, but also try making meatballs

Should be a wow, I will try to miss it.

I think the menu is a little "young" for your crowd.............Rice Crispy Treats???????? and if you are not having alcohol, then just don't have it, do not patronize teens and young adults by having nonalcoholic drinks in fake martini glasses..That would be cute if they were 14 but 20 is a little old for that sort of thing.
I would have sandwiches and finger food (wings, mozzarella sticks, etc.) chips & dip, desert.....Basically regular party food. The people you are inviting are adults and almost adults, please do not insult them with snowflake cookies and rice krispy treats.

It sounds pretty good so far. the only thing I would do is add a bit more savory items to the menu. You have a lot of sweets and sugar form the alcohol. I would do a veggie platter and a meat appetizer like meat balls or
something premade you just need to heat. Maybe quesadeas?
***of all the things in the world to get offended over, rice crispy treats are not it!

I think everything sounds great, but I would definitely add a dish with meat in it! Those teenage boys eat like wolves! They will want sandwiches or something! You could do simple sandwiches, hot dogs, pigs in a blanket, sloppy joes, or something like that, but definitely a meat!
