Entertaining guests?!
Answers: there are some people who are gonna come over to my house for a barbeque soon and most of them are older than me. im the only girl in my family so i'm stuck with having to entertain em and keep em in my room. i don't even know if i'll get alond with them well enough. some1 have any suggetions?
Different types of games, like board games or card games, are always fun! Most people of different ages can play and everyone can have fun together. Some of my favorites are scategories, apples to apples, taboo, and blurt. Head to a target or walmart and take a look what they have. Hope this helps!

I don't understand why you would have a barbeque in your room, or why you have to be in charge of entertaining because you are a girl. But, with that said...I would recommend having some snacks out right away so guests can eat a little while the food is cooking. Have music playing and plenty of seating set up. Just be friendly and don't worry about whether or not you will get along with people...I'm sure you'll have a good time!
entertaning people is hard what i would suggest to you if you have there phone # or e-mail ask them what thay are in to and then plan it that way but i hope that you have a good party and if you need anything else just ask.
introduce them to answers and u guys sit around and answer and ask questions together, it should be fun!
In an uncomfortable situation, just consider yourself the hostess. Keep yourself busy in the kitchen. Walk in and out of the room where they are occasionally and see if you know what they're talking about. If you have a laptop, put it near the kitchen so you can fart around on the internet if they're boring. Clean things. If you don't think you'll like them, just have the music on and provide games. Be pleasant when you talk to them, but excuse yourself to fill dishwasher/empty trash/check on something/whatever. I had to use that once during my own birthday party once because I didn't like my roommate's friends.
