How much should I charge for Christmas Cookies?!

Question: Hi, I live in Alberta Canada. I was thinking of baking Christmas cookies to get a little extra money this Christmas season.
How much should I charge per dozen for nicely decorated sugar cookies, thumbprint cookies (shortbread w/jam), peanut butter balls, gingerbread cookies, and chocolate macaroons? I was also thinking of baking them at the start of November, then freezing them as soon as they cool so they are still fresh for Christmas. Any ideas or advice for my cookie idea would be appreciated!

It would depend on the cost for ingredients and any accessories needed. For a dozen, I would say a good amount would be $4.00-$6.00. You could also sell 2 packs or other amounts to suite someone's budget or appetite.

Good Luck..

....oh, and I always love well presented cookies, like with cellophane paper around it with a ribbon or something. I would certainly think people would be willing to pay more ;)

When we had a cookie walk at church we charged about $3-$4 a dozen.
Some of them were really small and I did't think they were worth it.
I made some that were cutout sugar cookies with frosting on so people would get their money worth.

maybe $2.50 to $5.00 depending on how much they buy as well but it depends on how much you used and how much money you used then you can sell them so maybe even six dollars at the most and it would be better if you did this closer to christmas maybe on the last day of november or start selling them on the end of november.

$10-12 bucks

25 cents

well for a dozen cookies i would say about $5-$10

i would say about $5.00, but it would really depend on how much they cost to make and also be sure to factor in the labor. If they take a LONG time to make because of detail or something like that, you could charge something like a dollar more.

I would pay up to £2.50 - £3.00...
