Answers: Think of a situation in which you could make a significant impact at welcoming guests....

A significant impact is made by knowing who your guests will be and what they like to eat and what music they like to listen to.
A house in order but not aseptic - I feel that most people enjoy visiting an orderly but lived in home.
Flowers.... I like to have flowers in the house and I believe that those who come as guests to my home enjoy them too.

why? what happened?

We always set up a cocktail bar at the entry of our house. That way guests get a cocktail as soon as they enter...and they love that!

Tell them to come in, sit down, and shut the hell up.

Then you won't have to worry about it anymore.

i always voluntarily join in welcoming the guests either at reception or party atble because i know many vips; they may get embarrassed, if they are nit welcomed properly or not requsted properly at the table.or- we can say like thsi: they will bre happy if they are welcomed and treated properly!

stand behind the door and shout and jump as they come will make more impact than u can imagine bring out their true feelings for u also try it abhi

First, always welcome them with a smile and offer a drink - somehting like bucks fizz or dry white sherry
Second, always take their coats, and introduce people toe ach other "This is Fred and he likes fishing" or somehting.
Third, tell them where the bathroom is (so they don't have to ask)
fourth, get their drinks while they play bathroom tag (if they are female they always will, just to check make up)

Have music on but not too loud and the longer people stay standing up the better it is going.
