What's better ketchup or Barbecue sauce?!
Answers: Tell me what you think is better.
They both have their place. Usually I like bbq sauce better (although not the commercial stuff) but ketchup has it's place too. I really find the Heinz stuff too sweet, no tomato taste so I make my own, even for the restaurant.

Depends on what you're doing with it. Would you put ketchup on chicken or bbq sauace on french fries?!
Barbecue sauce because you can add different ingredients to it while you can only add salt to ketchup.

I am from South Carolina. To us BBQ sauce is a mustard based. Sounds different, but it is great.
i would say Hienz because its thicker base coats the ribs or chicken so very well:) yummy!
