Do teenagers need alcohol to have fun at parties??!
Quite a few of my friends do drink alcohol, but I don't...
I'm not sure whether or not to supply drinks for people!
Will people be bored without it....?
And if I didn't have any, what would liven the party up?

First, if you supply alcohol to under-age drinkers, you're committing a felony, as well as anyone who provided/bought the stuff in the first place. So, based on that, I'd say don't do it.
Secondly, NO ONE NEEDS booze to have a good time. THAT is a crock of sh!t, and if anyone says they NEED booze to have fun, they're full-blown alcoholics and you don't need them in your life.

Nobody really "needs" alcohol to have fun. It may lower their inhibitions but it doesn't guarantee that the consequences will be "fun."

No you do not need alcohol and the ones that want to drink will supply there own and then you are not responsible if one of them have a accident going home.
No, they don't need it. You would be do something illegal if you did supply and putting your parents at risk for legal charges.

I used to drink when I was a teen too but that doesn't mean I couldn't have fun sober. DO NOT serve alcohol if anything happens to anyone at your party you and your parents will be held responsible. Like if someone drinks and drives. It is dangerous and not worth it. Invite your sober friends if it is too concerning.

You don't need alcohol to have fun. Actually I think a lot of bad things happen when there is alcohol around. Just have lots of snacks and soda and other drinks. Have some games to play maybe card games or something and music and dancing maybe. It should be fun without alcohol.
no alcohol!!! you can do other things, like play games, movies, dance all without alcohol. Have a parent around to make it easier if pressured.

you can't and shouldn't... if this gets out of hand and someone gets hurt, you are responsible and can be charged....

Oh geesh.. I mean seriously alcohol changes the dynamic of any situation. My co-worker who NEVER talks 9-5 and then is dancing on stools at happy hour is a prime example.
It's your birthday party, so do what YOU want. If people don't want to come because there's no alcohol then screw them. Clearly they weren't going to be there for you or not.
However if you are just trying to be a gracious hostess and you think it would be best, then sure do it, but know once alcohol is involved, (like I demonstrated) the whole dynamic changes.

You don't need to serve alcohol to make your party fun. It may cause you trouble.
Some think they can't have fun without being half buzzed...but... I wouldn't chance the legal trouble...

no teens do not need alchohol because if you get caught you are going to be in big trouble just play some loud music and have mountain dew and lots of snacks and your parties will be fine. i am a teen to so that is how i know
Supply non alcoholic drinks. Drinks that you find at a bar but non alcoholic. Daquiris, red bull, etc. If you are 16 are you inviting older people? Supplying alcohol at a party is a liability. Especially for your parents. If someone leave drunk and wrecks or kills someone, you and your family will be sued.
Okay.... so i drink and yeah the party is a lot better with alcohol and if your friends are anything like mine then their motto is a party isn't a party without alcohol....... but since u don't drink maybe you can make your party a dancing party. Just make sure there's some really good music and try to keep everyone moving.... that way no one will notice that they're not drunk. I hope I helped
No, no, and NO!! Your friends shouldn't even be drinking alcohol anyway - it's illegal for them to. Alcohol is toxic to the body, it actually destroys a lot and put a lot of organs out of function for the period of your intoxication and they never come back quite as strong.
Anyway, do not support drinks at your party. What if the cops found it or your parents?? You can get yourself into big trouble with alcohol and parties. I'm a teen and I've been to many parties, and I've had the time of my life alcohol-free. :)
Don't supply drinks for one they are under age, someone gets in an accident from drinking and driving guess who is going to be in serious trouble, for supplying the drinks.

First off, underage drinking is illegal. And if you're caught supplying it, you can be arrested, fined or sent to jail. Not exactly the way you want to spend your 16th birthday, is it?
I don't think alcohol is necessary for people to have fun at parties... whether your a teenager or an adult. I certainly have never needed it to have fun. Good music, good food and people you have fun being with should be enough. If it isn't, and all your friends *need* alcohol to have a good time, then there's something wrong.
It all depends how old they are and if they were good friends they still would have a blast there with or without the booze and think about what kind trouble u be in if u got caught but then again if it were somewhere else !!!!! goood luck
Well you do not have to have alcohol for a party. I know this sounds corny but play games. Make it a thing that everyone bring their favorite game and make it like a "casino" night. If you have everyone busy with games and music and food then there will me no need for anything to drink. Just b/c there is no "drinks" there is no reason you should not have a great 16th bday.

well its not needed but it might be nesessary,.... dont worry if u dont bring it and they do drink they might bring it in themselves or yeah live the party unless theyre ur real friends that are going to stay at ur party regardless of wat
