I think you should go with serving this http://www.foodnetwork.com/food/video_gu... and play one of these games http://www.games.com/ you'll have fun.

you guys can do a white elphant gift exchange. have some shredded turkey sandwiches, veggie tray, taco dip, some kind of festive punch.

How fun!!! Hang white lights, light the candles, put up the tree, wreaths, and bring out the simmering popouree! Here are some ideas for food:

1. Beef tenderloin stuffed with mushrooms, gorgonzola, bread crumbs, herbs and served with a cabernet reduction, baked potato casserole, fresh green beans with lemon sauce, and pear crisp for dessert.
2. Pork roast, served with roasted veges, mashed potatos, and chocolate lava cake.
3. Grilled ribeye steaks with a bleu cheese butter, caesar salad, and twice baked potatos. For dessert, apple crisp in martini glasses.
4. Chicken and spinach enchiladas in a white cream sauce, spanish rice, guacamole and chips, cinnamon apples for dessert with ice cream.
5. Stuffed porkchops with your favorite stuffing, creamy mushroom sauce, glazed carrots with ginger and candied pecans, fresh green beans with bacon and onions, white chocolate raspberry bars for dessert.
6. Chicken and artichokes with a feta cream sauce, wild rice pilaf, fresh green beans or sauteed brussel sprouts with pancetta, raspberry sorbet with a rich chocolate sauce.
7. A salad bar with some of your favorites for each guest to make their own. Serve with artisan breads, sweet butter, a cheese platter, sliced meat tray and a chocolate fountain for dessert.
8. Fondue!

Since this is the season for giving, how about each person brings 5 items to donate to the local Food Bank. In addition to food, you can collect blankets, warm coats, gloves, socks, gift cards, sweaters, and hygiene items. The recipients really appreciate these!

For a game you can play pin the ornaments on the tree or wrap different everyday items in gift boxes and have everyone try to figer out what it is. Give a prize to the winners.

how intense is the cooking for your club nights? Do you guys really go "Gourmet" or just trying new recipes?

If simple but elegant try herb roasted chicken-- take whole chicken and rub under breast skin mixture of 1/4 c butter and your favorite hebs like rosemary, thyme, garlic etc and roast. Serve with sunshine rice ( white rice cooked with Orange juice) and steamed or grilled veggies.

Or pork chops stuffed with apple dressing, succotash with sweet potato, corn and maybe a broccoli (just bake veggies till tender with butter sauce)

Dessert can be a trifle- large clear bowl with favorite pudding flavor, cool whip, and maybe a fruit- ie; vanilla pudding, can cherries or strawberry pie filling and cool whip- can add layer of graham cracker crumbs... or chocolate pudding, sliced bananas (coat with lemon juice first), cool whip and add layer of vanilla wafer cookies. This can be any taste combo that suits your taste or color palatte

If more complicated menu ideas try www.foodnetwork.com for your skill level recipe

Games- there's Holiday Bingo- make up game cards (trick is to vary the word arrnagements on the cards!) with words associated with the holidays...like Joy- Cheerful-- Peace-- Dreams--- Shopping-- Rush-- Family-- Toys-- Tree etc.

What's in the Bag-- Get a super size stocking (usually a door hanger) and fill with small paper lunch bags filled with trinkets. The funny version could be silly things for your guests to put on and wear for the rest of the party- like neon colored scarf. necklace, or head band. baby bib, man's tie and thing slike that. Each person takes a turn and picks from the bag- then they must wear them for the night. The sillier the item the more fun watching them wear it.

Just Say yes- each guest gets like 10 tokens or chips of some kind with the instructions that throughout the night they can be asked a question, a favor whatever and their answer has to be YES or they lose a token. Questions can be simple as- Do you stay home from work today (chances are they'll say no) then yo get one of their tokens!! One with most tokens left at end of night- wins! A small prize can be given.
