So i am doing a black and white ball... i need an idea for activities so that the guests dont get bored..?!
Answers: so i am hosting a black and white ball which is a party and all of the people have to wear black and white dressy clothes. it is prob going to be a dance party but if its only that.... it will get boring... i need a cool activity but nothing with money....PLEASE HELP!!
My first instinct is to tell you to serve alcohol but that would involve money. Unless you have some good friends that are invited who can help you out. Kid games are always the best with a fun crowd. Like Heads Up 7-Up, or Eraser Tag. Bust out some old school fun!

Honestly don't do games, if its a dressy event, instead I would serve drinks, and tell your friends to pitch in and buy some.
i would say don't play games, because it will ruin the ball illusion.
hold a ballroom(unless youre guests can't pull it off) dancing contest. it is classy and people will have fun, even if they can't dance well. For a twist, have everyone pull their place cards(unless you don't have them, in which case, just make cards for everyone) in two top hats (white for women, black for men), and have them pick a name of the opposite sex (if there is not an exact 2:1 ratio, double up or use same sex teams) to be their dance partner. this will make it interesting if you're worried about filling the time with a non-boring activity.
also, have a 'sitting room' where you and guests can go to relax. if you want to be really crazy, arrange fun, old-fashioned (or not, depending on your exact ball theme) items around the room as conversation peices, and for your guests to play around with (example: top hats, masks, random plastic childrens toys, or oddly arranged knick knacks from around the house)
good luck, and remember, if it gets slow, you can always either pull out a black and white(cute!) movie and turn down the lights, or have a list of funny conversation topics handy. Try to take after true ball style and pretend you are all classy, rich old fashioned folk. it will be a blast!
