Lots to choose from:

Might I suggest: Jenka, Uno or another card game, Taboo, a board game, small electronic game like "20 questions".
Design place mats with pencil games for guests to work on while waiting: oval faces for doodling, maze, word games, self portrait,
numbers grid, hangman, etc.
Get some of those cheap magnet games from Cracker Barrel or else where where you use magnet filings to do face, hair, etc.
Sandwich or appetizers: Invite guests to make their own fanciful sandwich or appetizers from salad bar type fixings...have some pictures like these for inspiration :

Dessert: Banana splits or sundaes, guests get to fix from an ice cream station.
Since I am a bit old fashion --- you could try charades where people have to act out lines from Shakespeare, some other poet. Poe is good as is Wordworth. Longfellow if you are up to it.
Another is to bakes some cookies or mini muffins add some small amount of an odd spice to a muffin -- have the guest tell you what is in the muffin --- Cloves, nutmeg, allspice, lemon grass, pepper, tumeric, make one muffin per guest --- it is a good way to learn a spice and how they mix together.
you can do some food, pop in a movie, just as a background noise, or jut do like scary movie night, or something themed like that, or like go around in a circle and say your most funny stories about what happened in class, if you say a story first randomly everyone'll laugh and join in , and share! im sure itll be a success~
after you decied on what you would like to serve, could it be something where you could do a cooking party where they make there own food and then do a mystery night instead of murder maybe where something is stolen and you give out clues and see who can solve it
are you doing this during class or at home?
Play pictionary....but use a large dry erase board rather than little paper.....VERY FUN
Play Catch Phrase
i think it would be fun to have a spanish themed party, serve chips & salsa (easy to take to school with you that day), bring in a small pinata filled with candies, play some spanish style salsa music or gipsy kings or the like. put your food on a brightly colored tablecloth. find some easy trivia questions based around spanish food or language or actors, etc., and give out candy to the right answers.
have fun = ) hope this helps
