Transplant Party Decoration ideas?!
Answers: we're having a pre kiney tranplant party and i need decoration ideas? thanks
have kidney bean salad, kidney shaped serving dishes, all wear doctors scrubs or hospital gowns over their clothes, face masks hair caps, nurses uniforms, maybe see if you can find something like a heart monitor to be blinking, hospital bed for seating move the couch to another location, have drinks in some kind of drip bag.......? I'm out of ideas!

Also maybe use some words or quotes or people of inspiration. Also, maybe use some of the things the recipient enjoys (his or her hobbies, favorites, pets, heroes, tv shows, movies...). Maybe some things the recipient will be able to do after the transplant and they are up & about...
I would make it cheerful, happy, lots of fresh flowers, play their fav songs & games.....just try to alleviate any fears or anxiety the recipient may have pre op.

Have the "Operation" game set up on a side table; or, use the pieces in the game to decorate the cake (be sure to warn folks not to eat them!), or, glue them on a huge card, or glue them on place-cards (if you're having a sit-down dinner). Or, instead of party-hats, get surgeon's masks for everyone.
