It′s fine... friends really don′t care about the food, just the company...

The last time I had frank and beans was as a side dish for carne asada (b.b.q.) with roasted tomatoes, roasted green onions, guacamole, pico de gallo salsa and margaritas, beer and tequila.

good luck!!!

It's the friendship that counts more than the food - however - Yuk! Try a to-go order from a great restaurant , unless franks & beans is what your friend likes the most!

if it's a REALLY GOOD friend. unless you were one of my best, i'd be a little miffed. you get over anything for a good friend.

no, try grilled cheese with ham, good ham, and pick up some roasted peppers for color, and a nice bag of chips. real easy

The fact that you have invited someone over and are going to cook them dinner is really nice, so don't worry about what you're cooking. Make something that won't take up too much time, and don't experiment with something new. Get some really good bread to go with it, and some Ben & Jerry's for dessert. Sounds good to me!

Yuk, you might be better off making a pizza. All you need is some ready made puff pastry, chopped tomatoes, mozzerella cheese & some seasoning, & cook in the oven for about 25 mins, it s so easy.

Order out. They would much rather that than frank & beans....if you do not have money, a really good dish is to take spam (yes I said spam) crumble it, fry it in a pan with olive oil, pepper (you can make it as spicy as you like or they like; at my house we like it spicy, as it is supposed to be according to my friend) and some salt, then make some white rice (jasmine rice is best) put the meat over the rice and serve with nice buttered potato bread. That is a quick and delicious dinner and when I am low on time and funds I have made it much to my friends and my family's delight.

I think that even pasta would be better than franks and beans! Just buy fresh pasta and sauce in the deli section of your grocery store. Or how about soup in a bread bowl? My grocery store has cool soups and then you can hollow out a bread round and serve the soup in the bowl?

Hamburgers? that's quick and easy . . . no franks and beans - please?

franks and beans and ice cold beer is awsome

Lol if I was invited to a dinner at a friends house, I would expect frank N' beans. Do you have a crock pot? If you do, look up on the web- there are tons of recipes for a crock pot- throw the stuff in in the morning, and by evening you got a meal.

I personally don't care for franks&beans but you like it thats all that matters. Taco's-chili-hamburgers-chili cheese dogs. You could even add a side salad to all of those.
