At 16 you should have a boy - girl party. If you want interaction and your friends are fun, rent a karaoke machine.
On movies try some funny old movies like animal house, you'll want to keep it fun. Pizza, popcorn and pretzels are always a hit and maybe some sandwich's...you know how the guys like to eat. Good luck to you and Happy Birthday.
hire a DJ and have a big party in the garage or rent a hall. that's probly the most exciting thing you can do for 16 year olds. you can have a theme to it also like black and white or luau, 80's, celebrity/Hollywood
