This isn't very exotic.....but a taco bar is always a winner with Teens. Most teens are pretty simple eaters anyway.

Make it really big - do chicken and beef. Use the crockpot to keep it hot. Lay out both hard and soft shells. Have chips and lotsa lettuce out for a taco-salad option. There are tons of veggies and cheeses to set out so each teen can make their own tacos that they will love. You can also do sides of mexican rice and beans.
Plus, it's self serve and you can use plastic disposable plates and bowls to eliminate clean-up.

As for games and decorations, maybe just go out and make it Mexican-themed. Get a pinata - sounds silly but I bet that would be a fun, silly thing for them to do. (you know, blindfolded with a bat....everyone laughing at you screwing up trying to hit the thing)

Good luck!

always a snack plate you can get the big round plastic platters and load it down withe veggies, pickles, olives, meats like lil sausages cut sandwich slices....... just a lot of good finger foods dont forget the ranch dressing. also i make a huge pot of manwitch mix and hamburger and use Ranch doritoes dip them in the manwitch dip ummmmmmmm

If it's teen boys I would go with Hot Wings. Teen Girls I would go with lil smokies either wrapped in crescent rolls or with a bar-b-que flavoring. Then just lite snacks like chips and pretzels. Maybe even some sort of dip.

Teenagers are growing children and need to eat well, so give them lots of good heath food.Teenagers are not so much into games, they like good music and dancing.

I did this one year on Christmas Eve. Each year I have a party with a different theme. I never go with traditional foods because people get so much of that over the holiday seasons. Last year I did Asian. I have to tell you at first I was going to make everything from scratch, until I realized that was just absolutely nuts.

What I did was go to an Asian foods market and buy a lot of it. I have to say it was so much easier. I bought mini egg rolls, crab rangoons and dumplings. I also found a ton of decorations there really inexpesively as well as great ways to serve the food. For example I served a lot of the food in cheap steamers. I think they were like $2 a piece. I served sauces in bowls with Asian writing on them. I hung lanterns, etc. I used chop sticks to skewer meat. I served things off laquered trays.

I made teriyaki beef sticks, the chicken mixture for lettuce wraps (there are a ton of recipes out there, some more spicy than others, so I don't want to give you one), and salt and pepper shrimp. I also made all the dipping sauces, again you can buy them though. I made the sauce for dumplings, a spicy peanut sauce, oh I bought the duck sauce.

For desssert I bought a few different Asian cookies and candies. Nobody knew what they were, but it was fun passing them around and trying them.

I actually bought take out containers as well, and let the guests take home the leftovers.

We didn't have any games though.

bagels, icecream, pizza, crispy duck, anything chinese, prawn cocktail,
live music is always good
have fun

well we took pizza and we went to the beach we had a beach party it was great we had fun

Just don't get too carried away!!!! If the teenagers are anything like me and my friends at parties, we would rather do other stuff than eat. But do have a table with simple stuff like chips, tons of pop, cupcakes/cake ( if it is a birthday party), ice cream for dessert, pizza, you could have a cookout and have hotdogs and smores. If its just a couple girls or guys coming you could watch a movie (chick flick for the girls and scary movies for the boys!) Also the parents may not like this but the kids will, go toilet papering!!!! Thats always fun!!!!! You really dont need to decorate much enless your inviting alot of people, just a few balloons will work!!!!!!
