What are some good things I can deep fry?!

Question: Okay, my friends and I are having our 4th annual football viewing turkey deep fry feast. We will be watching college football all Saturday long, drinking beers, and deep frying a turkey. In the past we have ventured into deep frying other products such as Oreo's, Twinkie's, pickles, ice cream balls, etc.

What are some good, new, interesting things we can deep fry...and eat, for our turkey fry? Keep in mind that by the time we start deep frying we should have watched plenty of games and drank plenty of beer so no food is out of the question. Please consider originallity and edibility (is that a word?), we will eat most anything, but deep frying a wooden spoon doesn't count.

Scotch Eggs!!!

Hard boil some eggs. Then take a pack age of Jimmy Dean
sausage - whatever flavor you prefer and slice it as though you were making patties. Flatten the patties out and wrap a layer of sausage around each egg. Roll the sausage wrapped egg in bread crumbs and DEEP FRY the whole darn thing until the sausage is cooked. about 7-8 minutes.

These are incredible!

A few years ago at a restaurant where I worked, one of the cooks breaded his hand with about five layers of breading. He fried his hand in the fryer until it was a golden brown (he kept in the oil for about 2 minutes before he felt it start to burn). Yum!!

Try batter dipped fruit and vegies, corn dogs, etc

I've seen on TV a guy deep fry a Subway sandwich and Jimmy Kimmel said it was really good. I say try some salami or peperoni or try anything from Taco Bell. That guys hand sounds delicious too.
