Rubber Duckie Baby Shower-Any cute recipe ideas that go with the theme?!
Answers: im throwing a baby shower for my friend and the theme is rubber duckie any good ideas for food that either go with the theme or are just plain awesome!
Get a big tin washbucket from AC Moore and fill half way with water... Throw in a few rubber ducks and get some toss rings and give out prizes if someone rings a duck.. Get some duck shaped cookie cutters and cut out the bread and make little duck sandwiches. Also you can roast a duck and take the meat off and shred it and mix it with 1/2 C. mayo, 1/2 C. Cream cheese, 1/4 cup of chopped sundried tomatoes and add fresh herbs to your liking. Mix up and add 1/4 c. sour crea, the shredded duck and mix well. Get some 6 " tortillas and smear the mixture inside and roll up tightly. Cut into small rounds and hold together with decorated toothpicks...
For dessert, make a medium sized duck cake, and make 6 cupcakes, for ducklings and have them trail behind the momma duck... Good luck
Go o publix and order a cake shaped like a rubber ducky.
Also for party favors, hand out some ducks.

well u could make a cake and put rubber duckies on it or indivual cup cakes wit duckies and or make a sign that says shes havin a little duckie kool

the color yellow or lemon.
you could have yellow frosted cupcakes possibly lemon flavored. tiny ducks on top
yellow and white balloons.
yellow duck shaped soaps. to make your own: glycerin, yellow food coloring and shaped molds, heat glycerin in microwave, stir in color, and pour. let set overnight!
travel size lemon scented hand soaps or antibacterial gel

get a baby bathtub and make a batch of punch in it, have rubber duckies floating around in it. get mini duckies for on top of cupcakes, sing the rubber duckie song! gotta have taco dip for the party! you can play the pin game and make everyone quack before they speak and if they don't you can take their pins away.
