My kids are 9 turing 10 next year but my wife and me thought about it and thought for a water party at splish splash and after that a sleep over like a slumber party. then at that night we are going to scare him or her when he or she is a sleep and say happy birthday.And plus we are telling the kids about this when their coming so hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If it is a girl, I can suggest Dora the Explorer, Princess, Disney, Barbie, cat, pets, The Dog, for a boy I would suggest Thomas the train, spiderman, batman, any of those superheroes, cars, disney cars, or barney.

Craft parties are always good for that age...have them make something each can take home with them....another good idea is for them to each make their own ice cream sundaes...they can add whatever topping they like to them.
Depends on what gender he/she is....10 year old like preteens stuff like hannah montana and high school musical2....trust me i've been there! either let them hav a sleepover for both boys and girls or go bowling somewhere
Slumber party...we did this for my granddaughter...bought small tortillas and pizza fixings and everyone made their own pizza (goes in the oven just long enough for the cheeze to melt and the tortilla to get crispy). Before we cooked them, Grandpa came in and awarded prizes for most creative, most pretty, etc (not knowing who's was who's) so it was an activity/dinner. Everyone bought their favorite CD and I got out the video camera and we made music videos (everyone got a copy of everyone's dancing and singing skills to remember the night by and something to share with their families). They did hair-do's and make up on each other half the night. After a breakfast of blurberry pancakes, the mom's arrived to pick them up.
pizza party at Chuck E Chez, Libby Lu party, McDonalds, a pottery party, a movie theater to see a movie, or a party at home and have some kind of games and a craft for them to make.
