roman for an 18th, how easy would that be?

What about Chinese New Year. You can't get any easier than that. http://www.orientaltrading.com/applicati... This site should have all the decorations you need, and they're all pretty cheap. You can order your food in, but if you want to save money and be a little more creative just go to your local Asian food market and get frozen appetizers. You will probably be able to get a lot of decorations there as well. Believe me, this is the easiest party to throw with very little work. Just make sure to have a lot of decorations.

I threw a Texas hold-em party for my son and about 20 friends. Many of them actually played cards, some of the girls goggled around the table. I also had the X-box set up for those who weren't interested in the gambling part.

The food was easy finger foods, meat wraps, fruit with dips, various chips and dips, lots of mixed nuts, and brownies, cookies etc. Minimum decorations, guys not into that. Have fun.
