Any ideas for a bachelorette party that the brides mom is going? And a 19 yr old?!

Question: We had everything planned and then our friend announced she wanted her mom to attend the whole thing. And a 19 year old. And a super religious girl.

Now we have a guest list of 9, and only made accomidations at a hotel for 7. The hotel is non-refundable.

Oh god this is a nightmare. Any ideas?

By "everything planned" I am going to assume their is some risque' entertainment or games involved! You cannot re-plan everything on the mom & religious girl account, nor should you have to. It's meant to be cheesy and fun and obnoxious! If there are particular parts of the evening that you think you could tone down, you may want to...but I would definitely keep any half-naked men on the agenda. Some people are going to have to pair up with the rooms, which shouldn't be a problem since most of them will probably pass out, anyway. Keep on with your plans, make fake apologies if you feel the need, but the whole idea of most wild bachelorette parties is to have fun....don't let the new guests ruin it!

you won with the "make fake apologies" haha Report It

  • some one will have to shack up with someone else, I'm sure that won't be a problem, they have roll away beds available. are you guys getting a stripper or anything? if you are just let the two know about it beforehand so they can go sit in the other room or something. why not do a spa theme so no ones offended with facials and nails? anything going on down in the bar area like live music? hang there for awhile, go swimming in the pool. you guys should still get drunk if you want! Don't stop on their account! play some more tame games like pictionary or charades.

I'm lost as to why it's a nightmare?

Your friend, I assume is the bride? Well, if so...I have news for you. It's HER party, not yours. The fact that her friend is religious is not a bad thing. You shouldn't be doing anything at the party that they can't see anyway. I hope you have the class to not have hired a stripper.

And btw, bachelorette parties are NOT meant to be cheesy and wild. They are meant to be fun and a bonding experience.
