Hotel birthday party?!
Answers: I'm turning 16 soon and im thinking having a hotel party. Like renting out a room or two and inviting 5-6 friends, does anyone know about how much it would cost, it's for one night only
Most hotels won't rent a room to you unless you are at least 18. That said, You'll need an adult to be with you, for numerous reasons - including legal. One room can anywhere from 50 - 100 bucks or more. It depends on where you live, what hotel it is, and how big the room is. If you look at a suites hotel, it would probably be a better bargain. Especially the ones like Homewood suites - anywhere from 100 + /night.
For my niece's sweet 16 I took her and 4 friends to dinner. I told her she could have a slumber party was at my sil's house because they have a pool. Really, I rented a 2 room suite for $80, had her friends decorate the door, and hang some banners and dollar store decorations, and I put pictures of her all around the room (baby pics, etc). I picked them up from school. Hubby picked her up and was a few minutes behind us (he had to make "a stop" so we could decorate)and when they pulled into the hotel parking lot I heard her scream from 1/4 block away!! They had MockTails (virgin strawberry daiquaris and pina colada), visited, and got dressed up for dinner, and I stayed at the hotel with them. I let them hang out at the pool (late springtime in Arizona), and when the pool closed we walked to Starbucks, and then just hung out in the room - did hair and nails (she made them spa themed gift bags); because I treated them like the upcoming adults they are, they all respected the rule that they needed to stay in the room.
They took the bedroom and I took the sofabed in the living room.
