Answers: Were organizing a charity night any ideas? No kids will be there.

we have done mny chrity balls where i work.

they usuall do an auction ( you would ahve to doo some work getting some good items) and a raffle where everyone pays a generic £5.oo for the privilage

if you are having a dinner arange vith a venue a special rate say a 3 course dinner and dj for 20 quid per head but sell your tickets at 30 or 4 quid per head.

we had fab table decorations and also auctioned them off too.

try to get some sponsorship and be prepared to do the hard work to get the prizes in and to get people to attend. people with money to burn. at ours we had one guy in the action pay 130 for a night in a hotel in france. so you can realy make loads.

good luck

Apple Bobbing in vodka.

race nights are always a good way of raising money.a great giggle too.

race night

Why don't you auction off men and women for profit. The proceeds can go to the charity. Plus it is always fun. Then after the auction is done setup tables so that the daters can just sit down, talk, and enjoy each other over a simple dinner.

If there are any single people, you can auction of date ideas, and the person bids on it, and they don't know who that date is going to be with. At the same auction you can have different things for all people to bid on as well. I organized one of these auctions before and we did it with a very small number of people, and we had some great stuff donated for auction, like airplane tickets and timeshare places. Get as many people involved in donations and you would be surprised what people are willing to donate. Good luck!

how about a evening ball with a 3 course meal and music afterwards you all can be like kids again, it will be a nice break to have fun for a night and have a drink or too

Have a "Little Las Vegas" night... they make donations for play money to gamble with.

Then have a silent auction with some donated items for the players to bid on with the play money.

Have fun

I agree with H.O.T Dog. A Las Vegas night is a really good fundraiser. You'll probably have to get a one day gambling license ( check with your local government ) For decorations, I can send you to a site that has just what you'll need. When you get the site, search for Viva Las Vegas.

If you have a place in your area that rents the equipment for this type of party, they often can provide you with the people to handle the games.
