What are some fun party games for childrens parties?!

Question: There will be children ranging in age from 3 years to 12 years in attendance.

Answers: There will be children ranging in age from 3 years to 12 years in attendance.

I suggest you divide the children into two groups. The older children will need less supervision. Obviously the games should be age appropriate.

Older children: Treasure hunt games involving maps and 'Q&A' elements. In warmer climates, host games outdoors. Games involving physical activity are excellent. Consider 'Frozen T-shirt' games where T-shirts are dipped in water and frozen in advance. The children must find ways to thaw the garment quickly as the first to actually put the shirt on wins the game.

Younger children: It's easier to supervise younger children indoors. Classic games are great. Pass the parcel, lucky dip, treasure hunt games where the children simply look for hidden prizes without the extra challenege of a map, perhaps bake cupcakes in advance and allow the children to decorate their own with sweets.

Let them Play "Whose in my Mouth" they'll LOVE IT!

for the older kids, write down nursery rhymes and have them tell you what the title of them are.

Pin the tail on the donkey, simon says............I grew up on musical chairs but I notice that it results in a lot of crying and injury.

apple bobbing, tag, for little kids drawing contest and dressup for girls. for 10-12 truth or dare, monopoly card games and board games.

water balloons be ready have some ready to go

That's a wide range! Indoors or outdoors. For indoors theres simmon says, pin the tail on the donkey, etc. For outdoors theres tag, follow the leader, etc. What works really well is pairing younger with old. Like for example if your ages were the ones below you'd do the following to get partners (so its fair)..

3 3 4 5 5 6 7 9 10 12
three and twelve
three and ten
four and nine
five and seven
five and six

The only ones that may need assistance is the five and seven and or five and six. :)

That works out fairly for any game.

if it's a bday party there may be some game ideas on this side: www.birthdaypartyideas.com

hope you have a great time!

You give such a wide range in ages, it'd difficult to come up with any that will fit. Look at this site to see if you find any that will work. The only one I can come up with would be some sort of a relay race, with a mixture of ages on each team. I'm sure you'll find something better on the site below.
