I am turning 13 and i am having my first boy/girl party...?!
Answers: i need ideas for what we could do. we already are grilling out and having a fire in the back yard to sit around. also i just bought some new songs for my IPod that i can play. the party is from 6:30 to 9:00.please list any ideas you may have, thanks!! there will be 4 adults.(having a double bday with my friend because our bdays are on the same day)

if u dont want a themed party, u could just do regular stuff like karaoke (thats always fun), and , seriously, charades can never go wrong. u could also have like different contest like who can stuff them most marshmallows in their mouth wityhout swallowing... hilarious!

Try some games, maybe even a movie before the BBQ. Movies are the best!
okay just chilll... let the adults be together and the kids be together. watch tv/play bop-it/truth-or-dare/7 minutes in heaven/ spin the bottle. lol. but deffinately danceeeeeee and maybe karaoke!
I just did this with a bunch of my friends..we just invited a ton of people, some people brought video games, we had pizza and cakes and all that..basically just invite people and they'll find stuff to do..
Play spot light - it's like hide and go seek but at night with flash lights. Seekers have lights. It's fun for 13 year olds. you can change it up too and play capture the flag - it's fun sneaking through the yard trying not to get caught!
You should get karaoke! It's fun and it breaks the ice!

dont be corny with the party, always have GOOD and NEW popular songs playing no barbi an ken stuff you know? You have to have somthing fun to do an not corny like that old dart board you got when you were 5 you know?
If you have room in your backyard, try setting up a volleyball net or something like that. What you have already should be fun though! You will also take time to open presents im guessing? If you have any games like guitar hero play those. Have fun!
although it's supposed to for kids musical chairs is pretty hysterical
twister, or dance or just sit ariound and chat, tell jokes (you can find on here), you could all go out to the nearest park n play a game like football or 40/40 manhunt things like that, :)

well you defenantly should play manhunt ( a way better verison of hide-n-seek tag..) expesailly if there is a boy there you know like phisical activity and you like ;)adn definantly roast marshmellows, thats what we did at my party last year and it was fun! also try laser tag, its fun and affordable ^.^
It sounds like you live in an area where it will be warm - spring? If so, how about putting up a volleyball net or setting up a croquet game? These would be activities all could participate in and have fun. Roasting marshmallows over the fire and making S'mores is always fun, too.

Play some trivia games, or tug of war, or red rover. Any kind of yard games would be good. Maybe a Pinata, or if your yard is big enough, a treasure hunt. Make it boys against girls, that way the pressure's off, since you're being chaperoned.
manhunt is always good when it gets dark
have you ever - one person stands up and says something they've done and then anyone sitting on the floor who's done it gets up and finds a new seat and the one person who doesn't find a seat gets to start the game again
You could play a variation on Pin the Tail on the Donkey, or using felt-tip pens and a large body outline of yourself, have them do your surgery - with their EYES CLOSED! Then pass around "body parts." Place food items, such as two peeled grapes for eyes, popcorn kernels for teeth, an apricot half for the liver, and so on, then have everyone feel inside paper bags and try to guess what they are really feeling, as you identify them as body parts! Good luck with your surgery! have them try to guess what they are feeling.
How about backyard camping with "ghost-story telling" that would be fun....

some of my ideas for you:
-get some snacks to share at the beginning of the party - Pringles, Twisties (only the very cool snacks)
-don't forget to play a few good classic songs for the adults - maybe oasis or nirvana hehe, well find out, what they have liked when they were a teenager like you.
-if any of your friends are musicians, plead them to come and play, it boosts the atmosphere
-prepare a short speech to best describe all your friends - everyone, when the time comes ;) * it melts everyone's heart

-- Actually I had a party for my friend this summer.
I rented a movie projector [it's not that expensive]
&& hung a sheet up on the wall. Then I just hooked the projector to the dvd player && rented some cool movies.
I put big sheets out on the ground next to the fire-pit.
We just ate && hung out, sittin on the sheets and watching movies.
ask your parents about calling a party place [Where you can buy Halloween costumes && stuff] they have movie projectors/fog machines/ strobe lights/etc. for rent.
please don't play spin the bottle.. you are only thirteen. think about it. you're still a kid.
and DEFINITELY DON'T play seven minutes in heaven.
